It is situated in the beautiful city and capital of Malaysia Kuala Lumpur. The aim of the college is to design courses in a manner which fulfills the requirement of study for the students. College creates an environment to give local educational opportunities for school leavers and working adults. They have a mission to provide students with access to tertiary and professional education. Which should be affordable however maintains the highest standard of academic excellence. ATC has become the largest private law school in this region with two campuses in Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur and Penang). On the other hand, one in Singapore and a joint venture partnership in Hong Kong with the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Besides the law college, it also has a Business School as well. Its Business School has also grown to offer different certificate and diploma programs. ATC has also been running it’s A-Level courses through School of Pre-Tertiary and Professional Studies. This school has been recognized by the Cambridge International Examination as a registered centre for A-Level examinations. Advance Tertiary College Courses The Advance Tertiary College offers different study courses; some are Pre University, undergraduate and postgraduate degree programs. Pre University For pre university courses, ATC offers two programs; University of Cambridge A ‘Level Arts and Certificate in Business Studies (CBS). University of Cambridge A ‘Level Arts A’ Level is an entry qualification for degrees in Law, Accounting, Business Management, Commerce, Economics, Finance, IT and Communication, Marketing, Journalism, Mass Communication and in many social science fields. In order to get this degree, students need to complete 15 to 16 credit hours. And the subjects include: Business Studies Economics Accounting Mathematics Law English Literature Certificate in Business Studies (CBS) This four semester program provides a foundation in business education and allows you to either enter the business industry or continue with your academic pathway towards a Business degree. This is 1 and half year program includes: Introduction to Accounting Introduction to Microeconomics Basic Business Statistics Introduction to Management Basic Financial Accounting Introduction to Macroeconomics Introduction to Business Communication Introduction to Business Mathematics Introduction to Electronic Commerce Introduction to Marketing Fundamentals of Finance Introduction to Information System & Technology Computer Application Introduction to Business Law Bahasa Kebangsaan (A&B) Malaysian Studies Moral / Islamic Studies Degree programs Undergraduate Program The undergraduate program has six different degree programs. These degrees include: University of London Bachelor of Laws Program (LL.B) The 3 years degree program and students need to complete 4 subjects each year. It is also offers for full time and as well for part time. Bachelor of Business Administration (Hons) It is also a three years program and students need to complete 26 points. The degree offers specialization in three relevant areas, Management, Marketing and Human Resource Management. Bachelor of Accountancy (Hons) The 3 and half year program with later six months as industrial training, it is aim to produce capable and committed accountants. Those who should have quality and skills required in the accounting profession and to develop a holistic understanding of business operations. The purpose of placing them in industrial corporations is to allow students to have valuable hands-on experience in real-life working environments. Diploma in Accounting It is 2 year program; the program offers development of knowledge and skills in the key accounting areas. It allows students access to industry placement for internships as well as participation in entrepreneurship modeling workshops. Diploma in Marketing The program centers on the development of knowledge and skills in the key business areas and allows students access to industry placement or internships. It is 7 semester, two and half year program. Diploma in Management It is 7 semester, two and half year program, and aims to give knowledge about the management, situation of current market and other skills related to management. Postgraduate Program Certificate in Legal Practice, The Certificate in Legal Practice (CLP) is the qualifying examination for admission to the Malaysian Bar. It is aimed at providing the law graduate with the opportunity to learn the practical skills required to become an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya. The student is need to complete 5 compulsory papers and will be examined on these papers. The subjects required to be done by the student are: the study of Malaysian Tort and Contract Law. it includes the subjects like Civil Law, Criminal Law.
